This Refund Policy is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. While we ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and applicable consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), we recommend customers review their rights at the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) website.

Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a refund or exchange in cases where a product or service:

  • Is faulty or defective.

  • Does not match the description or promised results.

  • Fails to meet acceptable quality or safety standards.

However, refunds are not required for:

  • Change of mind.

  • Incorrect selection of a treatment or product.

  • Dissatisfaction with service results where the treatment was provided as described.

Refund Policy - the basics

At MS.A Beauty, we have clear guidelines on refunds and exchanges to ensure fairness and compliance with consumer rights. Our policy applies to:

1. Prepaid Credits & Treatment Packages

  • Refunds:

    • Credits/packages are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if unused.

    • After 7 days, credits are non-refundable but may be exchanged for other treatments.

  • Expiration Policy:

    • Prepaid credits/packages must be used within [Expiry Period, e.g., 12 months] from the purchase date.

    • Expired credits cannot be refunded or extended.

2. Skincare & Beauty Products

  • Refunds & Exchanges:

    • Unopened and unused products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase.

    • After 7 days, products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • Non-Refundable Items:

    • Opened, used, or damaged products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

    • Products purchased on sale or promotion are final sale and cannot be refunded.

3. Services & Treatments

  • Refunds:

    • Services that have been rendered are non-refundable.

    • If you are dissatisfied with a service, we encourage you to speak with our team within certain timeframe to discuss possible solutions (such as a complimentary follow-up treatment).

  • Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

    • 24-Hour Free Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

    • Late Cancellations (within 24 hours): The full appointment fee is non-refundable.

    • Late Arrival (10+ mins): The treatment time may be shortened, but the full service fee will still apply.

    • No-Shows & Late Arrival (30+ mins): The appointment will be automatically canceled, and the full booking fee will be charged.

4. Gift Cards & Promotional Offers

  • Gift Cards:

    • Non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

    • Must be used within the specified validity period.

  • Promotional Offers & Discounts:

    • Cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the service or product is faulty or does not match its description

5. Refund Processing & Contact Information

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 48hrs to the original payment method.
